The Common Jackalope has been a well known North American cryptid for years. The lesser known Polar or "Rainbow" Jackalope lives exclusively along the Earth's geomagnetic poles, or so it is rumored. In times of high solar winds and in the event of a rare geomagnetic storm, they may be spotted by the green glow of their eyes. They are so quick to dash out of sight, any human or animal who thought to have seen one would pass it off as a trick of the light.
