When trees are injured they develop chemical boundaries to resist infection. When a tree survives a fire they are left with a fire scar, showing up as a dark brown or black mark in the tree round. This is a charity pin, all proceeds after production and shipment costs will be donated to the Rainforest Trust. To reduce my impact this pin will be shipped in eco mailers or a reused mailer without a backing card.
